Carers Trust is a major charity for, with and about carers. We work to improve support, services and recognition for anyone living with the challenges of caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or addiction problems. Our vision is that unpaid carers count and can access the help they need to live their lives.
Our new survey shows the Coronavirus pandemic’s dramatic impact on young carers' and young adult carers' wellbeing.
There are over 7 million unpaid carers in the UK. At Carers Trust we aim to provide them with the support, advice and information necessary to assist them.
We rely on the generosity of the general public to donate and support carers in desperate need of help across the UK. A gift, no matter what size, can make a real difference to a carer's life.
Please help support unpaid carers through the Coronavirus crisis by donating to our Carers Emergency Fund.
We provide a wealth of information online to help unpaid carers access the support they need.
Locally, our network of partners support carers throughout the UK, giving them access to help, advice and breaks from caring.

Carers Trust is delighted that Rank has extended its groundbreaking partnership with the charity into 2021. The hugely successful partnership has had a major impact in supporting Carers Trust’s work with hundreds of thousands of unpaid carers right across the UK. Since its inception more than six years ago in February 2014, the partnership with Rank has raised a very impressive £2.6 million for Carers Trust.
A donation to Carers Trust allows us to reach more of the UK’s hidden carers and provide the support they need to care for the people they love.
