Corporate Partnership Manager
Carers Trust

Job Description

Corporate Fundraising Manager

£35,887 plus homeworking allowance (£216 per annum)

Full-time (35 hours)

Contract until 30th June 2020

Location: Home based. Occasional travel to Maidenhead and Rank offices / clubs across the UK.

Carers Trust is the largest UK wide charity for the nation’s 7 million unpaid carers. Together with our Network Partners, we provide support, information, advice and services for children, young people and adults caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend. The number of carers is a growing issue, with 3 in 5 of us likely to become a carer at some point in our lifetime. Carers save the UK economy over £132bn every year and act as a main support to our stretched health and social care systems.

Carers Trust started a 3-year-partnership with Rank Group (owners of Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casinos) in 2014. The partnership was extended for a further 2 years into 2019 and has seen great successes, raising over £2.2 million over 5 years.

Funds are raised from employee and customer fundraising, and Rank is one of the main funders for our Carers Funds programme, a lifeline supporting unpaid carers with individual grants, ranging from essential items such as fridges or beds, skills and training, through to crucial breaks away. The partnership has supported over 10,000 carers since 2014.

We are delighted that Rank have decided to extend the partnership further, and as part of the partnership relaunch we are investing in a full-time Corporate Partnership Manager role to drive the partnership. This role will build on the existing expertise & knowledge of the account from the team, and will have a closer access to the business, joining internal business meetings and having access to Rank internal resources.

This is an exciting time to join the team as we are investing extra resources to grow the account.

Further details of the role are contained in the job description.

Closing date for applications is 11am on Monday June 3rd 2019, with interviews due to take place week on June 10th.

Carers Trust is committed to valuing diversity.

Carers Trust has a number of measures in place to support the carers in its employment including carers leave.

Charity numbers: England and Wales 1145181, Scotland SC042870.
